By accessing and using the KNODOS website (the "Site"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the Site. These Terms of Use constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and KNODOS ("we," "us," or "our"). We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and your continued use of the Site following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. 2. Use of Website
The Site is provided for your personal, non-commercial use to browse our collection of premium espresso accessories, including but not limited to tamping stations, calibrated tampers, portafilters, WDT (Weiss Distribution Technique) tools, coffee distributors, knock boxes, and dosing accessories. You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not use the Site in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair any KNODOS server, or interfere with any other party's use and enjoyment of the Site. You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site, other accounts, computer systems, or networks connected to any KNODOS server through hacking, password mining, or any other means.
3. Product Information & Accuracy
We make every effort to display our espresso tools and accessories as accurately as possible on the Site, including product descriptions, specifications, dimensions, materials, and photography. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions, pricing, imagery, or other content on the Site is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. Colors of products may vary slightly due to monitor settings, screen resolution, and photographic lighting conditions. Specifications such as needle gauge for WDT tools, tamper diameter measurements, and material compositions are provided to the best of our knowledge but may be subject to minor manufacturing tolerances. If a product offered on the Site is not as described, your sole remedy is to contact us for clarification or return the product in accordance with our return policy.
4. Pricing & Availability
All prices displayed on the Site are in the currency indicated and are subject to change without prior notice. While we strive to maintain accurate pricing, errors may occasionally occur. In the event of a pricing error, we reserve the right to cancel any orders placed at the incorrect price. Product availability is subject to change and may vary depending on demand, manufacturing schedules, and supply chain factors. We do not guarantee that any specific product will be available at any given time. When products are temporarily out of stock, we may offer the option to be notified when they become available again. Products listed on the Site may be available for purchase through third-party platforms such as Amazon and Etsy, and pricing on those platforms may differ from prices displayed on the Site.
5. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, product images, product designs, photography, video content, icons, the KNODOS brand name, and the compilation thereof — is the exclusive property of KNODOS and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Our product designs, including the unique engineering of our tamping stations, calibrated tamper mechanisms, WDT tool configurations, and dosing accessories, represent proprietary innovations. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any content from the Site without our prior written consent. You may not use any KNODOS trademarks, logos, or trade dress in connection with any product or service that is not ours, in any manner that is likely to cause confusion, or in any manner that disparages or discredits KNODOS.
6. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, for any reason, including but not limited to a violation of these Terms of Use. We will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with these account security obligations.

By subscribing to the KNODOS newsletter through the Site, you consent to receive periodic email communications from us, including but not limited to product announcements, new releases, promotional offers, espresso tips and techniques, and company news. You may unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link included in each email or by visiting the unsubscribe page on our Site. We will process your unsubscribe request promptly, though please allow a reasonable period for the request to take effect. Your email address will be stored securely and will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties for their marketing purposes. By subscribing, you acknowledge that you are providing your email address voluntarily and that you meet the minimum age requirement in your jurisdiction to consent to such communications.
8. Contact Form & Inquiries
The Site provides a contact form for customer inquiries, product questions, wholesale inquiries, and general feedback. When you submit a contact form, you agree that the information you provide is accurate and that you consent to us using this information to respond to your inquiry. We aim to respond to all inquiries in a timely manner but do not guarantee a specific response time. KNODOS DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. KNODOS MAKES NO WARRANTIES OR REPRESENTATIONS ABOUT THE ACCURACY OR COMPLETENESS OF THE SITE'S CONTENT OR THE CONTENT OF ANY WEBSITES LINKED TO THE SITE. USE OF ESPRESSO EQUIPMENT AND ACCESSORIES INVOLVES INHERENT RISKS INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO BURNS FROM HOT WATER OR STEAM, AND USERS ASSUME ALL RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE SAFE USE OF PRODUCTS PURCHASED THROUGH THE SITE.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL KNODOS, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM: (A) YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SITE; (B) ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE SITE; (C) ANY CONTENT OBTAINED FROM THE SITE; (D) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE, OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR CONTENT; OR (E) THE USE OR PERFORMANCE OF ANY PRODUCTS PURCHASED THROUGH THE SITE OR LINKED PLATFORMS. IN NO EVENT SHALL KNODOS'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID, IF ANY, FOR ACCESSING THE SITE DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
13. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless KNODOS, its officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and suppliers from and against any claims, actions, demands, liabilities, and settlements, including without limitation reasonable legal and accounting fees, resulting from or alleged to result from your violation of these Terms of Use, your use of the Site, your use of any products purchased through the Site or linked platforms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party. This indemnification obligation will survive the termination of your use of the Site and these Terms of Use.
14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which KNODOS is established, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms of Use or the Site shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation between the parties. If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation within thirty (30) days, either party may submit the dispute to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the applicable arbitration association. The arbitration shall be conducted in the jurisdiction where KNODOS is established. You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action.
15. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms of Use at our sole discretion by posting updates and/or changes to our Site. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the Site following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
