The KNODOS 58mm Classic Espresso Tamping Station is a compact rosewood stand that holds your 58mm portafilter at a fixed position during tamping and stores your tamper, distributor, and accessories between shots. No knock box, no extra bulk — just a solid platform for clean, organized puck prep. Dense rosewood finish handles daily steam, water, and coffee without warping. Fits E61, Gaggia, Rocket, ECM, Profitec, Rancilio, La Marzocco, and Breville Dual Boiler.

Fixed Portafilter Position

Drop your 58mm portafilter into the holder, and it stays at the same height and angle every time. Both hands are free for tamping, which gives you more control over pressure and leveling. The holder works with standard 58mm portafilter handles from E61, Gaggia, Rocket, Rancilio, La Marzocco, ECM, and Profitec machines.

Tool Compartments

The station includes dedicated slots for your tamper and distribution tool, plus space for smaller accessories like a WDT tool or dosing funnel. Everything stays upright, visible, and within reach. After your shot, tools go back in the same place — no clutter, no searching.

Small Footprint for Busy Counters

If you already own a separate knock box — or you prefer to knock into the bin — the Classic station is the better choice over the larger Knock Box model. It does the two things a tamping station needs to do: hold the portafilter and organize your tools. Nothing else taking up space.

How to Use — Step by Step

1. Place the station on a flat countertop near your espresso machine.

2. Store your tamper and distribution tool in the built-in slots.

3. Dose ground coffee into your 58mm portafilter.

4. Set the portafilter into the holder — it locks into place at the correct tamping angle.

5. Tamp firmly with both hands free.

6. Lift the portafilter out and lock it into your espresso machine.
