The KNODOS 58mm Dosing Funnel and Puck Screen Set includes a magnetic dosing funnel and a fine mesh puck screen, both in black anodized aluminum. The funnel catches stray grounds during dosing and WDT, while the puck screen distributes water evenly and keeps the shower screen clean. Both are magnetic, lightweight, and food-safe. Fits any 58mm portafilter — E61, Gaggia, Rocket, ECM, Profitec, Lelit, La Marzocco, Rancilio, and Breville Dual Boiler.

58mm Portafilter Funnel

The funnel is a magnetic ring that sits on top of your 58mm portafilter. It adds height to the basket walls so grounds stay inside during dosing, WDT distribution, and leveling. Without a funnel, grinding directly into a portafilter scatters coffee across the counter. The funnel catches everything. Lift it off when you are ready to tamp.

58mm Espresso Screen

The puck screen is a fine mesh disc that goes on top of the tamped coffee puck before you lock the portafilter into the machine. Water spreads evenly across the entire surface instead of channeling through weak spots. The screen also acts as a barrier — spent grounds stay in the basket instead of sticking to the shower screen.

Black Anodized Aluminum

Both pieces are anodized aluminum with a matte black finish. Food-safe, corrosion-resistant, and significantly lighter than stainless steel. The lighter weight matters when weighing doses — the funnel adds minimal grams on the scale.

How to Use — Step by Step

1. Place the magnetic dosing funnel on top of your 58mm portafilter.

2. Dose ground coffee into the portafilter — the funnel catches stray grounds.

3. Use a WDT tool to distribute grounds evenly.

4. Remove the dosing funnel and tamp.

5. Place the puck screen flat on top of the tamped puck.

6. Lock the portafilter into your machine and extract.

7. After the shot, knock out the puck and rinse both pieces.
