For 58.5mm Precision Baskets Only

Built for 58.5mm or larger baskets — VST, IMS Competition and specialty OEM models. It is deliberately not sized for standard 58mm OEM baskets, where it would seat too tight; for those, choose the 58mm Echo with its 58.3mm base. The auto-leveling flat base adjusts to the basket angle, packing the coffee bed evenly to reduce channeling and pull a richer, more consistent crema.

Dual Spring System

Ships with a 30lb spring installed and a 20lb replacement spring in the box. 30lb is the standard for most espresso recipes; 20lb suits lighter roasts or anyone who prefers less compression. The swap is hand-tight in seconds with no tools, and the click mechanism is tuned to produce a clean, distinct click at both settings.

All-Black Blackwood Handle & PVD Base

A solid blackwood grip — a deeply dark, dense hardwood with a refined grain — sits over a PVD-coated black stainless base for one striking, all-black tool. Hand-finished and warm in the palm, it is the boldest finish in the KNODOS Echo lineup.
