Sized for the Barista Express, Barista Pro, Barista Touch, Bambino Plus and Infuser, this 53.3mm tamper drops in flush — its 53.35mm base meets the 54mm basket wall to wall, so coffee packs level instead of domed. As a self-leveling tamper 54mm, the flat, balanced base settles square against the basket on its own, packing the bed uniformly to reduce channeling and pull a richer crema.
