The KNODOS 54mm Puck Screen for Breville is an ultra-thin stainless steel mesh that sits on top of your tamped coffee puck inside the 54mm portafilter basket. It spreads water evenly across the puck for more uniform extraction and keeps spent grounds from reaching the shower screen. Thin enough to fit on a full dose without reducing headspace. Fits Barista Express, Barista Pro, Barista Touch, Bambino Plus, Infuser, and Duo Temp Pro.

Better Water Distribution on Breville

Breville machines deliver water through a small shower screen above the portafilter basket. Without a puck screen, that water tends to concentrate in certain areas and channel through the weakest parts of the puck. The KNODOS 54mm puck screen forces incoming water to spread across the full surface before it reaches the coffee. The result is more even saturation, more consistent extraction, and fewer wasted shots from channeling.

Cleaner Shower Screen

Without a screen, spent coffee grounds press against the Breville shower screen after every shot. Over time, oils and fine particles build up and restrict water flow. The puck screen catches grounds below it so the shower screen stays clean between deep cleans.

Ultra Thin — No Dose Reduction

The screen is thin enough to sit inside the 54mm basket on top of a full dose without pressing against the shower screen. You do not need to reduce your dose to make room for the screen.

How to Use — Step by Step

1. Dose and distribute ground coffee into your Breville 54mm portafilter basket.

2. Tamp as usual.

3. Place the puck screen flat on top of the tamped puck.

4. Lock the portafilter into your Breville and extract.

5. After the shot, knock out the puck — the screen comes out with it or stays in the basket.

6. Rinse the screen under water. Deep clean weekly with espresso machine cleaning solution.
