The KNODOS 58mm Walnut Bottomless Portafilter for Breville Dual Boiler and Oracle is a naked portafilter with a 2-ear lug design and a solid walnut handle. It ships with an 18–21g double shot basket and replaces the stock spouted portafilter with an open-bottom design that exposes the full underside of the filter basket. See channeling, uneven flow, and puck prep issues in real time. Compatible with Breville Dual Boiler (BES920), Oracle (BES980), and Oracle Jet only.

Open Bottom, Full Visibility

With no spout blocking the view, espresso flows directly from the basket into your cup. You see the stream form, split, and stabilize in real time. If the flow is uneven, off-center, or spraying — there is a problem with your grind, dose, or distribution. A spouted portafilter hides these issues. A bottomless one shows them immediately.

Correct 2-Ear Lug for Breville 58mm Machines

Breville's Dual Boiler and Oracle machines use a 58mm group head with 2-ear lugs — a different design from the 3-ear lugs on Breville's smaller 54mm machines. This portafilter has the correct 2-ear locking mechanism.

18–21g Double Shot Basket

Ships with a stainless steel double shot basket rated for 18–21 grams of ground coffee. The basket is removable — you can swap it for aftermarket precision baskets from VST, IMS, or similar brands.

Walnut Handle

Turned from solid walnut wood with a warm brown tone and natural grain pattern. Walnut is the most popular handle choice in the KNODOS lineup — heavier than maple, lighter than rosewood, and moisture-resistant enough for daily use around steam and water.
