KNODOS 58mm Rosewood Bottomless Portafilter for Breville Dual Boiler & Oracle — 2-Ear, 18–21g Basket

The KNODOS 58mm Rosewood Bottomless Portafilter for Breville Dual Boiler and Oracle is a naked portafilter with a 2-ear lug design and a dense rosewood handle. It ships with an 18–21g double shot basket and exposes the full underside of the filter basket for real-time extraction feedback. The rosewood handle adds weight and balance to the loaded portafilter. Compatible with Breville Dual Boiler (BES920), Oracle (BES980), Oracle Touch, and Oracle Jet only. Also available in walnut and maple.

Real-Time Extraction Feedback

A spouted portafilter blends two streams into one and hides what is happening inside the basket. A bottomless portafilter hides nothing. You see the espresso emerge from every point on the basket surface. If the stream is uneven or off-center, the cause is in your puck prep, and now you can see it.

2-Ear Design for Breville 58mm Group Heads

The Dual Boiler, Oracle, and Oracle Jet use 58mm group heads with a 2-ear locking mechanism. This portafilter matches that design exactly. It does not fit Breville machines with 54mm group heads (Barista Express, Barista Pro, Bambino, Infuser), which use 3-ear lugs.

18–21g Double Shot Basket

A stainless steel double shot basket ships inside the portafilter, rated for 18 to 21 grams of ground coffee. The basket lifts out for cleaning or replacement — standard 58mm aftermarket baskets from VST, IMS, and other brands fit.

Rosewood Handle

Rosewood is the densest and heaviest handle option in the KNODOS portafilter range. The extra weight adds balance when the portafilter is loaded with a full dose and basket. The dark reddish-brown grain matches KNODOS rosewood tampers, distributors, and tamping stations.
