The KNODOS 51mm Magnetic Dosing Funnel and Puck Screen Set is a two-piece stainless steel kit for 51mm portafilter machines including Delonghi Dedica, Casabrews, and Smeg. The magnetic funnel catches stray grounds during dosing, while the puck screen distributes water evenly across the tamped puck and keeps the shower screen clean. Both are food-grade stainless steel — corrosion-resistant, heat-resistant, and built for daily use at brewing temperatures.

51mm Dosing Funnel — Magnetic

The funnel is a stainless steel ring with built-in magnets that hold it on top of the 51mm portafilter. It adds height to the basket opening so grounds stay contained during dosing, WDT distribution, and leveling. Without a funnel, the small 51mm basket makes it easy to overshoot the rim. The magnetic hold keeps the funnel in place while you work and releases cleanly when you lift it off to tamp.

51mm Puck Screen

The puck screen is a fine mesh disc that goes on top of the tamped coffee puck before locking the portafilter into the machine. It spreads water evenly across the puck surface, reducing surface channeling. It also blocks spent grounds from reaching the shower screen. Rinse after each shot — the screen lasts for months of daily use.

How to Use — Step by Step

1. Place the magnetic dosing funnel on top of your 51mm portafilter.

2. Dose ground coffee into the portafilter — the funnel catches stray grounds.

3. Use a WDT tool to distribute grounds evenly.

4. Remove the dosing funnel and tamp.

5. Place the puck screen flat on top of the tamped puck.

6. Lock the portafilter into your machine and extract.

7. After the shot, knock out the puck and rinse both pieces.
