A 51mm dosing funnel and puck screen set for smaller portafilter machines — Delonghi Dedica, Casabrews, Smeg, and other espresso machines with 51mm baskets. The magnetic funnel sits on top of the portafilter during dosing to catch stray grounds. The puck screen sits inside the basket on top of the coffee to distribute water evenly during extraction. Both are made from stainless steel.

51mm Dosing Funnel — Magnetic

The funnel is a stainless steel ring with built-in magnets that hold it on top of the 51mm portafilter. It adds height to the basket opening so grounds stay contained during dosing, WDT distribution, and leveling. Without a funnel, the small 51mm basket makes it easy to overshoot the rim — especially when grinding directly into the portafilter. The magnetic hold keeps the funnel in place while you work and releases cleanly when you lift it off to tamp.

51mm Puck Screen

The puck screen is a fine mesh disc that goes on top of the tamped coffee puck before locking the portafilter into the machine. It spreads water evenly across the puck surface at the start of extraction, reducing surface channeling. It also blocks spent grounds from reaching the shower screen, so you clean less often. Rinse after each shot — the screen lasts for months of daily use.
