The KNODOS 57mm Walnut Espresso Tamper is a calibrated, self-leveling tamper designed for 57mm portafilter baskets found in select Lelit, Ascaso, and La Pavoni Domus Bar machines. Stainless steel ripple base with a double spring-loaded mechanism and solid walnut handle. Three interchangeable springs (20lb, 25lb, 30lb) let you set the tamping force to match your recipe. The self-leveling base corrects tilt for even compression. A less common size — make sure your basket measures 57mm before ordering.

57mm — A Niche Size

Most espresso machines use 58mm, 54mm, or 51mm baskets. A small number of machines from Lelit, Ascaso, and La Pavoni use 57mm. If your machine is one of these, a 58mm tamper is too large and a 54mm tamper is too small. This tamper fits the 57mm basket exactly.

Calibrated Self-Leveling Design

The spring applies a set force regardless of hand pressure. The self-leveling base corrects tilt so the puck compresses evenly on every shot.

Three Interchangeable Springs

30lb installed, plus 25lb and 20lb. Swap by unscrewing the handle — no tools needed.
