The KNODOS 51mm Rosewood Espresso Distribution Tool is an adjustable-depth coffee leveler for compact espresso machines with 51mm portafilter baskets. Spin the rosewood-handled distributor on your grounds before tamping to create a flat, even surface across the basket. The 51mm basket is more sensitive to uneven distribution than larger sizes, making a leveler especially useful. Stainless steel base with a dense rosewood handle. Fits Delonghi Dedica, Gevi, Smeg, Casabrews, and other 51mm machines.

Distribution on Small Baskets

51mm baskets have less surface area than 54mm or 58mm. Uneven grounds cause channeling more easily. A distributor creates a level starting point before every tamp — reducing the chance of water finding weak spots during extraction.
